This was my first marriage and I wanted to plan the perfect wedding shower. I needed assistance in planning my wedding and talked to my sister to see if she could help me with the planning. She agreed and was excited as much as I was. Planning a wedding shower is time consuming, but I couldn’t wait to start planning it. This was not my first time planning a shower and I knew how great my shower would be. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
Me and my sister were looking for a place to have the shower and enough space for all the guests. We found a hall close by my home. We started looking on the web for decorations and gifts. We found a lot of themed wedding shower ideas that were so adorable. I finally found all my decorations and purchased all the gifts I needed for the wedding shower. Our next step was to find shower favors. There were so many to choose from. I took a lot of time looking because of all the awesome shower favors. We saw a cotton handkerchief that was so elegant, that I decided this is what I want to give my guests for a wedding favor. I also thought that I could get one for me on my wedding day. I saw a lace handkerchief that was awesome. I knew right away that all my guests would love the men’s handkerchiefs. I decided to go with a men’s handkerchiefs as a wedding favor for all my guests.
Everything was falling into place. We booked the hall and purchased the decorations, gifts, and wedding favors. I now had to plan what I was going to have as food for my shower. I thought about catering it in, but that was expensive. I looked through all my recipes and found some great dishes that I and my sister could make in no time. We ordered the cake at the bakery down the street. Everything was ready. I found these great invitations and sent them out. All we had to do was wait until the day of the shower.
The day finally arrived and we went to hall to set up the shower. We had the hall decorated in no time. As soon as we finished, we were amazed how great the room looked. I even took pictures to remember how it looked. The tables each had a centerpiece on it and the cake was put on the same table where we but the food. Each setting had a cotton handkerchief. If you were to walk in the room, you would think how gorgeous it looked.
My guests finally arrived and we all had such a great time. We all had such a good time. We had fun playing games and eating. I heard throughout the shower that my guests liked receiving the handkerchief as a gift. I received so many gifts from all my family and friends. I did not want my shower to end, because I had so much fun and so did my guests.
When all my guests were leaving, they all thanked me for such a good time and especially the handkerchief. I am so glad I went with the handkerchief for the wedding favor. My special day turned out and will be remembered forever. I also am grateful that I had my sister to help me plan my wedding shower. It made me feel good that she was by my side through this. I picked her to be my maid of honor, because of that.
