Keeping Up With Bridal Fashion

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

As soon as we set our wedding date, I got busy with my planning and shopping for everything I needed. I’m an online shopaholic, so, my first course of action was to hit the web. With all the great accessories and reception supplies I found online, it was easy to find what I needed for our wedding. Starting with the beautiful invitations I chose, and finishing with the super wedding favors for our friends and family.

We had no problem choosing the theme we wanted for our wedding and reception, it had to be a beach theme. The beach has been a special place for us and our friends ever since we were kids.
I found the perfect wedding invitations to send to all of our potential guests and sent them out to everyone, after that I went straight to my computer and started checking out wedding sites to find the best in bridal accessories that not only looked great, but stayed within our budget. It didn’t take long to find the perfect bridal hair accessories that would look fantastic with the wedding dress I had chosen. The tiara I chose had the same little pearls in it as my gown. I even found a gorgeous pearl necklace that came with matching earrings to go along with it. They were so lovely. In fact all the bridal fashion accessories they had were exquisite. I was really surprised at all the money I saved on my accessories.

There were a lot of accessories that were so beautiful and most of the items were reasonable in price. I also bought a few items I can use while on our honeymoon. I know that a short thin materialed dress would have been more appropriate for a beach ceremony, but I had my heart set on my full length gown. There were satin summer dresses for my bridesmaids and my flower girl, that had a knee length hemline. They all looked so lovely in their wedding attire.

There were tiki torches and those little white christmas lights everywhere and a dance floor my fiance had fixed there. The reception tables had been decorated in an oceanside motif and the little sailboat place card holders was a great addition. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. I think they all liked the frames as much as I did.

There were tealights and candles to light up our beautifully set bridal table and lovley beach themed flutes for the wedding toast. All the supplies and accessories for our wedding reception was decorated in an oceanside motif, and so was our cake topper. A man and woman taking a casual walk on the shore was the wedding cake topper I chose for our reception. With all the items and wedding accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. We danced, ate tons of seafood, like shrimp, crab, lobster and of course we had other foods for those that didn’t like seafood. We all had a wonderful time enjoying good food and good music to dance too. It was a little sad when we had to leave for our honeymoon and everyone was still partying it up.

The first thing I had to do when we came home from our honeymoon was get out my wedding guest book I bought online and make out all the thank you notes for the people that shared our wedding day with us. My beach themed picture album has all the memories within its beautiful covers for me to enjoy anytime I want to look back on our special beach wedding and reception.
