We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. It really was a gorgeous wedding ceremony.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. Our reception place card holders were ornaments that looked like little snowballs. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. As thank yous, wedding champagne flutes are hard to beat. When you looked at our reception tables, all you could think of was the pristine majesty of the wintertime. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. The artwork on the serving set for our cake, that I purchased over the Internet, also had a winter look to it. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The artwork on the the cake serving utensils and the guestbook was identical to that on the champagne flute, and they all looked brilliant. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. I not only found things for our wedding, but they also had items I could use on our honeymoon. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
