We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. The artwork on the serving set for our cake, that I purchased over the Internet, also had a winter look to it. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.

The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
