The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. The first priority was finding a bachelorette party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. That was the right thing to do. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. They had all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like engagement party invitations.
I found some darling place card holders for the party as well, among other things. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. One style of place card holders caught my fancy. Pink lilies adorned the place cards I picked out, and each guest received brightly-wrapped candies in a small plastic purse. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. Every person at the bridal shower took a gift from the platter, and it looked classy that way. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. If you want to see something humorous, try playing ‘Take It Off,” a game where you have to but a bag on your head and then, when the person running the game tells you to take off one piece of clothing, you have to take one off – and it’s astonishing how many women don’t have it come to mind that they ought to take off the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. There are other mirthful games that we did, like bridal bingo. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I know I got a super deal on the favors and invitations I picked out. The things I purchased were well made, and I spent a lot whole less than I thought I would have to, and had a whole lot more choices. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. Getting her things for the wedding here will save her money and give her some great ideas to work with. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending. Which, by the way, I also ordered online. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.

AMAZING Party Invitations
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009When you’re looking for a wedding favor…
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So my decision was made. I wanted a fairy tale wedding and reception.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding reception favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. I have to admit, it was quite special. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed favors for wedding too. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?
Curious about Wedding Bell Favors…
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009You could hear the wedding bells ring as we headed for our limo, with our guests yelling their good wishes and tossing rose petals our way. That’s how it was on our wedding day. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and everything turned out just like I wanted it, thanks to all the super accessories I was able to get. We had the best in wedding accessories and reception supplies to make it all a dream come true.
Starting with the invitations and ending with the perfect little thank you gifts, they had it all. Our invitations were quite lovely with the silver printing on the front. I also ordered from this fantastic choice of accesssories, the ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, which came as a set. It was a beautiful satin garnet color and included a wedding guest book, pen set and wedding garter. Five items bought as a group, that cost a lot less than you would think.
I also picked out an aisle runner along with other accessories for our wedding. The process of selecting wedding bell favor was really a great one. After we were pronounced man and wife, everyone at the ceremony rang their little bells as we walked back down the aisle. It was really a unique idea.
The accessories for our wedding ceremony wasn’t all I ordered, I also got our supplies for our reception there too. There was a marvelous selection of reception accessories to pick from. I wanted to make our reception tables sparkle, so I ordered as much crystal as I could get away with, starting with crystal champagne flutes. There were twisted stemmed flutes which I ordered for our guests and a special toasting flute set I ordered especially for the bride and groom for our table. Wedding bell favors really made our tables shine with elegance, and I thought it would be a nice gift for our guests as a little something extra to show our appreciation.
I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. Glass coasters was our choice of wedding favor gifts for our guests. They were specially designed with a calla lilie on each one. I put the wedding favors in little silver party favor boxes that came with thank you cards for each of them. The shiny gift boxes added that extra sparkle to our guests tables. On each reception table was a centerpiece I made up of lovely flowers and some very elegant candles.
At the end of the reception hall was our wedding cake on a special little table. Three tiers of luscious chocolate and cherries with a gorgeous wedding cake topper as the crowning glory. I really fell in love with the cake topper I bought, with it’s attractive little ribbon made into a bow at the bottom of the heart with calla lilies added. The reception was fantastic, as was the wedding ceremony. I had to go back online where I bought our wedding album and puchase a second album for all the pictures that were taken at the wedding and reception. There were so many shots of us with our wedding cake and the traditional cutting and sharing of the very first piece. There were also pictures of our first dance together as man and wife, our guests on the dance floor and an adorable picture of the flower girl and ring boy dancing together.
The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. Someday I’d like to have a renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary and thank goodness, my husband agrees.
Custom Wedding Bells Favors!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009You could hear the wedding bells ring as we headed for our limo, with our guests yelling their good wishes and tossing rose petals our way. That’s the way our ceremony went. There was such a wonderful collection of accessories to help plan our wedding and make our ceremony so perfect. There was everything for to pull off the perfect wedding ceremony and reception.
From the wedding invitations to the wedding favors for our guests, they had everything. The silver print was a lovely touch to our invitations. I also ordered from this fantastic choice of accesssories, the ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, which came as a set. It was actually more than the basket and pillow, it also had my wedding garter, guest book and pen set, in a gorgeous rich garnet. Five items bought as a group, that cost a lot less than you would think.
There were a lot of other items I ordered too, like my lovely aisle runner for the church ceremony. We wanted to have a wedding bell favor and we loved it! All the little bells were ringing at the end of the ceremony, as we made our way to the limo. It was really a unique idea.
I didn’t just order things for my ceremony, I also ordered everything I needed for our reception too. There were all kinds of wonderful ideas for our wedding reception. I wanted to make our reception tables sparkle, so I ordered as much crystal as I could get away with, starting with crystal champagne flutes. There were twisted stemmed flutes which I ordered for our guests and a special toasting flute set I ordered especially for the bride and groom for our table. As an extra wedding favor for our friends and family I decided to choose bell weddings.
I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. We gave out glass coasters as wedding favors for our friends and family. Each set of coasters had a special calla lilie design. I put the wedding favors in little silver party favor boxes that came with thank you cards for each of them. The wedding favors in their little silver boxes made our tables even more elegant. On each reception table was a centerpiece I made up of lovely flowers and some very elegant candles.
On a smaller table at the of our long table, was our fantastically designed wedding cake. A beautiful wedding topper sat on top of our chocolate cherry three tiered wedding cake. I really fell in love with the cake topper I bought, with it’s attractive little ribbon made into a bow at the bottom of the heart with calla lilies added. The reception was fantastic, as was the wedding ceremony. With all the tons of wedding pictures we had, I finally had to order another wedding album to store them all in. There were several pictures of us cutting the wedding cake and feeding that first piece to each other. There is the most adorable picture of our little flower girl dancing with the very elegant ring boy, our bride and grooms first dance together, and all of our guests having a great time on the dance floor.
The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. I plan on having another wedding ceremony and reception for our anniversary one year and I was so glad to hear that my wonderful husband thinks that’s a fantastic idea.
Custom Wedding Silver Bells!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009The wedding bells rang, rose petals were being tossed and our friends and family were yelling their congratulations as we left the church for our limo ride to the reception. That was the type of wedding ceremony we had. I have to say, it was a fantastic ceremony too, and with all the help I got on accessory suggestions, it wasn’t hard to put it all together. With all the exceptional accessories and supplies at my disposal there was no way this wedding and reception wouldn’t be a success.
Starting with the invitations and ending with the perfect little thank you gifts, they had it all. On the front of our invitations was silver printing which added to the elegance of the card. I also ordered from this fantastic choice of accesssories, the ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, which came as a set. It was a beautiful satin garnet color and included a wedding guest book, pen set and wedding garter. Five items bought as a group, that cost a lot less than you would think.
They also had an aisle runner I really liked, so I ordered that to my list of wedding supplies. I’m really glad we went with the wedding bell. After we were pronounced man and wife, everyone at the ceremony rang their little bells as we walked back down the aisle. I thought that was a great idea.
I bought accessories online for our reception as well as our ceremony. They really had quite a collection of gorgeous wedding reception accessories to choose from. I wanted our reception tables to shine with elegance, so the first thing I ordered were the crystal toasting flutes. There were twisted stemmed flutes which I ordered for our guests and a special toasting flute set I ordered especially for the bride and groom for our table. The wedding bell favors I picked out not only helped to add the sparkle I wanted for my tables, but served as a wedding favor for each of our guests.
It was hard not to order all they had to offer in the way of accessories but I restrained myself for fear of over decorating. I did order some very nice wedding favors for our guests that were lovely glass table coasters. Each set of coasters had a special calla lilie design. I found the perfect little silver favor boxes with thank you tags to package the wedding favors in. The silver favor boxes, along with all the other accessories on the tables, really added to the décor. On each reception table was a centerpiece I made up of lovely flowers and some very elegant candles.
At the end of the reception hall was our wedding cake on a special little table. Three tiers of luscious chocolate and cherries with a gorgeous wedding cake topper as the crowning glory. I decided on a beautiful heart with calla lilies and ribbon as our cake topper. The reception was fantastic, as was the wedding ceremony. We had so many photos of the wedding ceremony and reception that I went back online and ordered a second wedding photo album. There were several pictures of us cutting the wedding cake and feeding that first piece to each other. There is the most adorable picture of our little flower girl dancing with the very elegant ring boy, our bride and grooms first dance together, and all of our guests having a great time on the dance floor.
I’m so glad everyone had such a wonderful time, and I received so many compliments on the decorations of the wedding and reception. Someday I’d like to have a renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary and thank goodness, my husband agrees.
Making the right choice when it comes to wedding gifts
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So I finally made up my mind. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I had every wedding reception favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. I made sure their wedding gift boxes were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?
I LOVE these Champagne Toasting Glasses!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. It really was a gorgeous wedding ceremony.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. Our reception place card holders were ornaments that looked like little snowballs. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. As thank yous, wedding champagne flutes are hard to beat. When you looked at our reception tables, all you could think of was the pristine majesty of the wintertime. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. The artwork on the serving set for our cake, that I purchased over the Internet, also had a winter look to it. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The artwork on the the cake serving utensils and the guestbook was identical to that on the champagne flute, and they all looked brilliant. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. I not only found things for our wedding, but they also had items I could use on our honeymoon. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
