I made a list of everything I’d have to buy for my best friend’s bridal shower, and then once I had that, I got to work. At the top of the list was getting a engagement party invitation. Now I’m one of those women that really doesn’t like shopping where I have to fight the crowds, or wait in line for price checks, so I decided to go online and see what I could come up with for the bridal shower. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and bachelorette party invitations, too, along with other things.
I found some darling place card holders for the party as well, among other things. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. One style of place card holders caught my fancy. Pink lilies adorned the place cards I picked out, and each guest received brightly-wrapped candies in a small plastic purse. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. Flower decorations were on the containers I picked out, and I put them all on a serving dish on the table that held the gifts. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
Party game suggestions abound on the Internet. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. This is really a hysterical game to play. There are other mirthful games that we did, like bridal bingo. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. I paid a fraction of what I had expected, I had lots of accessories to choose from and I didn’t have to go with inferior products. Since the website also sold wedding invitations and favors, I let my friend who was about to get married know about it, since I was sure she could use a wide selection to pick from. Getting her things for the wedding here will save her money and give her some great ideas to work with. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending.
